About us

Lunya was started in 2008 by Peter Kinsella, a Wirral based businessman. Peter has spent all of his working life working in the health and social care field running a successful international consultancy called Paradigm.

He always had a huge passion and great skills in producing fabulous food, and after a business trip to Barcelona in 1999, fell in love with the city, and indeed the whole of Spain. Over 50 trips to Spain later, Peter finally realised his ambition of opening a Catalan deli and restaurant, right in the heart of the city of Liverpool, in the prestigious Liverpool One.
