We could fill these pages with legalese that no-one would read. Here is a short summary of our terms and conditions as they apply to ordering from our website. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER
Until we have received payment for our goods, they remain ours, even though you may actually have them. We can demand them back, even if that means asking you to regurgitate our fine food!
We charge delivery of a varying amount. Please check our store page for full details. This applies to mainland UK. For other areas such as the Channel Islands, please call or email for an exact delivery price.
In Merseyside, we will usually deliver your goods in person. Elsewhere, we use Royal Mail first class parcel post and UPS. Please make sure you are in on the day due for delivery as much of our food is perishable. We dispatch Monday to Thursday. We do not usually dispatch on a Friday, due to the risk of food being held in the post over the weekend. All refrigerated and frozen food is appropriately packaged and insulated.
Some of our products have age restrictions. Alcohol and knives can only be purchased by, and for, individuals aged 18 and over. Liquor chocolates can only be purchased by and for individuals over 16 years of age. By placing an order for any of these products or services you confirm that you (and, if different, the recipient of the product and/or service) satisfy the age requirements necessary to buy that product or service.
The minimum order for our website is £10.
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, direct credit transfer into our bank or cash on delivery for personally delivered items in Merseyside.
If any product arrives in less than acceptable condition, please advise us within 24 hours via email to email@example.com. After this time, claims cannot be accepted. We will replace or refund any product that arrives in less than acceptable condition. If you are unhappy with any purchase, please let us know; we want you to be happy with your purchase and will do what we can to ensure your satisfaction.
We would not generally offend or upset anyone. If by chance we do, we are terribly sorry; please let us know if we do. We do not use nuts in the making of our own food. However, please always let us know if you have any allergies, and we can do our best to ensure anything we supply is nut free, or meets any other dietary requirements.
That's about it!
This is about the website in general. We lost the will to live at this stage and have left these in legalese!
